Exploring Ledgers
A ledger is a snapshot of the Stellar network state at a point in time. New ledgers close approximately every 5 seconds.
Browsing Ledgers
Section titled “Browsing Ledgers”The Ledgers page shows recent ledgers in reverse chronological order. Each ledger card displays:
- Sequence number — The ledger’s position in the chain
- Closed at — When the ledger was finalized
- Transaction count — How many transactions were included
- Operation count — Total operations across all transactions
Ledger Details
Section titled “Ledger Details”Click a ledger to see its full details and the list of transactions it contains.
Live Updates
Section titled “Live Updates”The explorer streams new ledgers in real-time. The latest ledger appears automatically at the top of the list without refreshing the page.
